Common Core Standards
with Jim Warford, former Chancellor of Florida’s Public Schools
Be a part of this informative professional learning discussion with Jim Warford as we go over Common Core Standards.
The Common Core State Standards and the related assessments present a dynamic leadership opportunity. These new standards will dramatically alter our definition of 21st century skills. They will impact what is taught, how teachers teach, and how schools are organized. Students, teachers, and administrators will be affected in multiple ways as they prepare for fundamentally different assessments.
Join Jim Warford, former Chancellor of Florida’s Public Schools, as he addresses teachers and administrators from around the country on how educators can think critically about the types of instruction that can best serve our students, and how states, districts, schools, and teachers need to begin planning now for how the new standards will impact instruction and assessment.
